For Educators

Teaching pumps the blood through my veins. I have teaching experienced in grades 2, 3, and 5 and hold a M.Ed in Reading and ESL Instruction. While I was in the classroom full-time, I became passionate about teaching kids to process mental images more accurately. I saw so many students who struggled to visualize reading material throughout all content areas. I was able to turn theories into research-based practices. I worked to develop strategies to help students improve their overall reading skills with special emphasis on visualization. I am also a huge enthusiast of great children’s literature, and I love creating thoughtful standards-based lessons using quality, engaging texts. I hope you find the contents here useful.
